Lattiat ja sisäkatot, osa 1 - Floors and ceilings, part 1

Olen saanut tehtyä vasta eteisen sisäkaton, mutta tässä se nyt on. Katto on tehty bambutabletin osista, jotka on maalattu valkoiseksi akryylimaalilla. Aion luultavasti tehdä muutkin katot samalla tavalla.

I have only made the hall ceiling so far. Here it is. I made it out of bamboo placemat parts that I painted white with acrylic paint.

Tässä saman huoneen lattia, joka on tehty Bilteman sytyketikuista. Ne on käsitelty Osmo puuvahalla, värillä pähkinäpuu. Viereisen keittiön ja ulkoeteisen lattiat ovat samanlaiset.

This is the floor of the same room. I made it out of firestarter wood strips that are sold in a store called Biltema. (We Finnish miniaturists use them for all kinds of things.) I stained the strips with walnut coloured wood wax. The adjoining kitchen and porch floors are the same.

Tässä on ullakon lattia, joka on myös tehty Bilteman tikuista ja maalattu Plus Color -akryymaalin sävyllä Dusty Blue. Lakkasin tikut maalauksen jälkeen vielä alla olevalla Tiimarista löytyvällä kiiltolakalla.

This is the attic floor that I made out of the same wood strips and painted it with acrylic paint, Plus Color's shade Dusty Blue. After painting I varnished the strips with a gloss varnish that you can see below.
