Virkkausta - Crocheting

Olen televisiota katsellessa virkannut pieniä liinoja ihan tavallisten virkkauslehtien (mm. Lea) ohjeiden mukaan. Olen vain käyttänyt pienempää koukkua ja ohuempaa lankaa kuin ohjeessa on suositeltu. Silti alkuperäisen ohjeenkin mukaan liinan pitää olla aika pieni, jotta siitä ei tule liian isoa.

While watching TV I have crocheted small doilies following the instructions of real size doilies from crochet magazines. I have just used finer thread and smaller hook size. Still, the original design needs to be quite small, or the doily will be too large for 1/12 scale.

Nämä liinat olen virkannut 0,75 mm koukulla ja lankana on DMC 80 Ecru.

These doilies I have crocheted with 0,75 mm (size 12) hook and DMC 80 Ecru thread.

Löysin netistä AIM-lehden ohjeen tähän kauppakassiin.  Sen ohje löytyy lehden numerosta 37. Lankana on myöskin DMC 80 Ecru.

I found pattern for this shopping bag online in AIM magazine issue 37. The thread is again DMC 80 Ecru.

 

Vasemmanpuoleisen hatunkin ohje löytyy AIM-lehdestä, numerosta 24. Oikeanpuoleinenkin on tehty samalla ohjeella, mutta tein lieristä erilaisen ja lisäsin kukan. Vasemmanpuoleinen on kovetettu sokeriliuksella, toista ei ole. Lankana molemmissa taas kerran DMC 80.

The pattern for the left-hand side hat can also be found in AIM magazine, issue 24. I crocheted the other hat from the same pattern, but changed the rim and added the flower. The one on the left has been hardened with sugar solution, but not the other one. The thread is again DMC 80.
